The tournament was held over the weekend of 20 & 21 June 2009 at Lynn Grove VA High School. Once again with over two hundred teams entered from all around East Anglia and beyond, the tournament was a great success. With 14 pitches used on Saturday and 16 pitches used on Sunday, nearly 1,500 boys and girls participated in nearly 750 matches over the weekend.
The Club is grateful to its individual team managers, committee members, friends, associates, referees, St John Ambulance, Lynn Grove VA High School, sponsors and advertisers for their support in making the tournament possible.

Under 7 & 8 - There was a total of 42 teams entered in these two age groups over the two days, with no scores recorded in line with National FA regulations, all participants received a Gorleston Rangers FC commemorative medals as a reminder of the day. Thanks to the Great Yarmouth Lions Club for sponsoring the medals.

Gorleston Rangers FC are a FA Chartered Development Club which means that all managers and coaches are at least FA level 1 qualified, been CRB checked, are emergency first aid trained and have attended the FA Child Protection Course. If you are looking to manage or coach a youth football team then contact Chris for more details, the club will pay for all coaching qualifications for the right candidates.
