Under 7's and 8's
All of the under 7 and 8 teams that didn't reach the final, received a club medal to commemorate their efforts. The club got clearance from Norfolk County Football Association for our younger soccer school members to play in house series of games against each other to assist in teaching them the rules. This section was a great success, with all of the players receiving a club commemorative medal at the end of their games.

Gorleston Rangers FC 26th Annual Youth Football Tournament
in association with Specsavers, Great Yarmouth

The tournament was held over the weekend of Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th July 2014 at Ormiston Venture Academy, Oriel Avenue, Gorleston. One hundred and eighty six teams entered from all around East Anglia and beyond. The tournament was once again a great success with 13 pitches being used on each day, nearly 1,500 boys and girls participated in over 750 matches.
The Club would like to go on record to thank Leigh Drury, Ormiston Venture Academy site caretaker for his assistance over the weekend to ensure that the event ran smoothly.
The club is very grateful to its individual team managers, committee members, friends, associates, referees, St. John Ambulance, Ormiston Venture Academy, trophy sponsors and programme advertisers for their support in making the tournament possible and the great success it was. A special thank you for the continued support from the clubs that enter the tournament each year, with many travelling over 100 miles to play.
