Gorleston Rangers under 15 falcons
Won the under 15 NSYL shield final against a very sporting Kirkley & Pakefield Royals 2-0. We controlled most of the game, but K &P did keep us on our toes when they moved the ball quickly from back to front. We took the lead with a good 30 yard free kick from Lewis. Kieran made a good double save when K & P broke through our defence. Ray played a great defence splitting forty yard pass to Kalum who clinically lofted the ball over the advancing K & P goalkeeper. With Dan, Connor and Andreas controlling the centre of the park, we dictated most of the play. Joe was very unlucky not to add a third as his shot was deflected out for a corner. We won a lot of corners, but K & P defended very resolutely. All 16 players can be pleased with their performances. NSYL MOM selected by K & P manager was awarded to Kieran. The game was played in a very good spirit with hardly any fouls committed during the whole game.
