Congratulations Under 11 Falcons

Second half Caister's attacks became more frequent, but we held good shape and cleared the lines well. Jack C became more influential in the middle of the park and produced an outstanding sliding block tackle to thwart the Caister captain from equalising. This was a very good game from two equally matched sides. NSYL MOM: Jack C
Considering all of the new faces this season, with many having no previous NSYL experience, winning both division 2 and the shield is an outstanding performance. Special thanks to the boys for their loyalty at the start of the season when we were struggling for players

Gorleston Rangers Ospreys V Bradwell Spain
Ospreys played in there very first cup game against a very good Bradwell Spain side. Ospreys started the game very slow and let bradwell take the game to them with Luke making some great saves to keep Ospreys in the game, that seemed to spur Ospreys on and with Reece and James in midfield started to play their football finding Jack M, Jack O and Josh who where making the Bradwell goalkeeper busy but couldn't make the break through.
Second half Ospreys started to put more pressure on the Bradwell goal with Finley making some great runs with the ball and with Curtis and Tristan breaking up the Bradwell attacks. Ospreys soon made the break through with a great run from Jack O who played in Jack M who hit a sweet shot which at last beat the Bradwell keeper.
Ospreys then seemed to let the occasion get the better of them, winning, against a team two division higher that them and soon Bradwell showed why they are a division 2 side scoring two very good goals. Ospreys then started to try and force the ball forward rather than play there usually patient football and couldn't beat a very good Bradwell side who held on for the win.
MoM Luke Thanks to Gary for a great game and ref D Bennet. Next match v Sole Bay away. Team from Luke, Tristan, Curtis, Reece, Josh, James, Jack M, Finley and Jack O.
Rangers battle to fine victory
Gorleston Rangers Ladies team was formed this season and play in Norwich Division Two.
Last week they played Mulbarton Belles who were joint top. This was a very well-contested game from both sets of players who showed why they play the game.
Mulbarton took the lead, then Gorleston levelled through Sasha with a good strike and Amy made some superb saves to deny Mulbarton.
The game was looking like it was heading for a draw until, about a minute from time, Betty went on a surging run and tucked away with great composure to win the game 2-1.
Well done to both sets of players who all played their part in this match and thanks to the Gorleston linesman who helped out.
The club's Steve Dent club said: "Team player and manager Katherine is a credit to football - she put the team together and they are now playing in Norwich Division Two.
"They have been very commited and they have so far played four games, won three and drawn one, which is very good.
"Let's all remember Katherine needs support on match days so let's all pull together and keep enjoying football."
